Preparation

  1. Prepare Aftermeats Minced according to package instructions and set aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Aftermeats Minced, chopped cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, ginger powder, and garlic powder. Mix well.

  3. Take a gyoza wrapper and place a tablespoon of the Aftermeats  Minced filling in the center of the wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water using your finger.

  4. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal. Then, create pleats on one side of the wrapper and press it against the flat side to seal.

  5. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  6. Heat a non-stick pan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the gyoza to the pan in a single layer, making sure they don't touch each other. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the bottoms of the gyoza are golden brown.

  7. Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover with a lid. Let the gyoza steam for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.

  8. Remove the lid and let any remaining water evaporate. Drizzle some soy sauce over the gyoza and serve hot.
